GOMO COMMUNITY WORKSHOP 2023

Workshop Goals

  • Share recent accomplishments, discuss opportunities for further improvement, and identify solutions to challenges facing the ocean observing community
  • Discuss and gather input on GOMO’s 2022 Program Review recommendations, responses, and next steps
  • Identify ways to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion both in the research community and in our NOAA program and labs
  • Strengthen connections and collaborations within our community and identify new opportunities to engage more broadly
  • Develop messages to raise the visibility of GOMO’s work

Meeting Location and Virtual Access

The meeting will be held in-person in the Great Hall of the Silver Spring Civic Building at Veterans Plaza (1 Veterans Pl, Silver Spring, MD 20910). Parking and directions are available HERE.

The meeting will also be offered in a Hybrid format on Zoom. The meeting link was sent in an email to the registered attendees.
