CPO's Stanitski presents for JASON Learning

As part of her role as a NOAA Host Researcher for the JASON Learning curriculum Climate: Seas of Change, CPO’s Diane Stanitski – program manager of the Ocean Climate Observation program – gave six presentations to students, faculty, and parents in Houston, Texas from Jan. 15-16. 

The day and evening presentations focused on ocean climate and careers in the NOAA-related sciences.  Stanitski also participated in a live national webcast with students on Feb. 20 to discuss the ocean’s role in climate.
