This document is a 1-year update report of actionable recommendations provided by the Science Review Panel during the 2022 Program Review with and GOMO’s response, target start and completion dates and current status.

This inaugural Annual Report highlights GOMO’s accomplishments during calendar year 2023 and the impact of our work. It also reflects our progress towards meeting the objectives laid out in our 2021–2025 GOMO Strategic Plan.

This review is for both internal OAR/NOAA use for planning, programming, and budgeting, and external interests. It helps the Program in its strategic planning of future research activities. These reviews are also intended to ensure that OAR research is linked to the NOAA Research mission and priorities, and other relevant strategic plans.
