Fellowships & Internships
An important part of GOMO’s educational work is engaging with students, including undergraduate and graduate students to help train them for careers at NOAA and in related fields. GOMO has hosted postsecondary students in the following programs since 2015 to teach them about NOAA and GOMO’s role within it:
Sea Grant Knauss Fellowship Program matches highly-qualified graduate students with positions within Federal agencies for a one-year paid fellowship. This unique educational and professional experience provides an opportunity for GOMO to support Early Career Ocean Professionals.
