GOMO Releases New Strategic Plan

Fiscal Years 2021-2025

The Global Ocean Monitoring and Observing (GOMO) Program is pleased to share our Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2021-2025. This plan will prepare GOMO to improve global ocean knowledge, products, and capabilities that will enable NOAA to better address our responsibilities to the nation in areas of climate, weather, healthy oceans, and resilient coastal communities. We have identified four Strategic Goals that will guide us over the next five years in strengthening the global ocean observing system and the people who contribute to and make up this enterprise. Our thanks to all across NOAA and beyond who contributed ideas and comments during the development of our plan. You can read and download the plan on our dedicated Strategic Plan webpage.
